Every painting begins with a clear vision. I know where I want to go, but I never force the journey. As the work evolves, texture, light and unexpected details often lead me somewhere even better. That's when the painting begins to feel truly alive - and those are the moments that make me fall in love with the process all over again.

There is one moment I never get tired of. It's when I step back, look at a finished painting and realise it has finally become exactly what it was meant to be. Every artwork carries my time, my attention and a part of who I am at that moment. I don't know whether it's visible, but I truly believe every painting carries the energy of the person who created it. Mine certainly carries a part of me.

For me, a painting is never just decoration. It is often the piece that brings a space together. I love seeing how the right artwork changes a room - adding warmth, balance and a feeling that everything has finally found its place. That's why I don't think of my paintings as something to hang on a wall. I think of them as something to live with.

The greatest reward for me is knowing that a painting has found the place where it truly belongs. A home where it will be lived with, noticed in different light and quietly become part of everyday moments.
