Original textured painting "Tranquillity" 120 x 70 cm
Tranquillity is an original textured abstract painting in soft beige, warm white, stone grey and muted blue-grey tones.
The composition is built around an open, luminous centre, with heavier texture developing towards the edges and across the lower part of the canvas. The colours move into one another gradually, while the raised surface creates small shadows and changes the painting as the light in the room changes.
At 120 × 70 cm, the horizontal format works naturally above a sofa, console, bed or dining area. The palette is deliberately restrained, making the painting easy to place in light contemporary interiors as well as spaces with stone, wood, grey or darker details.
There is movement in the surface, but from a distance the painting remains quiet. That contrast is an important part of the work.
